以前にも取り上げましたけれども、クノッソス、ファイストス、マリア、ザクロスといった有名なクレタ島の宮殿の遺構を中心としたミノア建築に関する建造技術がまとめられた本で、ハードカバーの改訂版が出されました。画期的な書です。

図版（271 figs.）が多く収められているのは見どころのひとつですが、各図は小さく扱われており、この点がとても残念。
ただし紙質は旧版より良くなっているため、図版は鮮明です。
"Mason's marks"について網羅はしていません。この方面については、別に探索することが求められます。
